Key Lime and Strawberry Cake with White Chocolate

A delightfully light and easy-to-make cake recipe that combines our Royal Delights Key Lime Crème and Strawberry Crème and topped with a white chocolate frosting.


  • 1/2 cup sugar
  • 1 cup flour
  • 1/2 teaspoon baking powder
  • 1/8 teaspoon baking soda
  • Pinch of salt
  • ¼ cup buttermilk (or 1 teaspoon lime with 1/4 cup milk)
  • 1/8 cup vegetable oil
  • 1 egg
  • 1/2 cup boiling water
  • 1 package Royal Delights Key Lime Crème
  • 1 package Royal Delights Strawberry Crème
  • 1 package Royal Delights White Chocolate
  • fresh strawberries, sprinkles


  1. Preheat oven to 350 F. For the cake batter: combine all dry ingredients and mix well; Add egg, buttermilk (or milk with lime juice), oil, and mix well; Divide the batter in two; In the first half combine with 1 package of the Key Lime Crème, and the second half with the Strawberry Crème; Finally, stir each half with ¼ cup of boiling water. Portion each batter into a 7’ round cake pan, and bake for 15 to 20 minutes; Cool it down
  2. Meanwhile, prepare the frosting: Follow the package instructions for the White Chocolate and transfer into a piping bag, leave it in the cooler
  3. To assemble: choose what cake flavor will be in the bottom, then add half of the White Chocolate evenly and cover with the other cake half, pipe the White Chocolate

    Optional: garnish with white chocolate morsels, fresh strawberries or your favorite sprinkles
