Cherry Glazed Popcorn

Who knew you could pair popcorn and gelatin? We did! Follow this recipe to create your very own gourmet popcorn. Our cherry-glazed popcorn recipe is the perfect mix of sweet and salty.
Ingredients
- ½ cup mushroom popcorn kernels
- Pinch of salt
- 2 tablespoon water
- ¼ cup sugar
- ½ teaspoon lemon juice
- 2 tablespoons Royal Cherry gelatin
- 1/8 teaspoon baking soda
- Full sheet pan or a large cake pan
Directions
- In a small saucepan add the water, salt, lemon juice, and sugar and mix well before cooking (wet sand texture) with the lid on; After 2 to 5 minutes with medium heat it will start to turn light golden, turn the heat to low and stir the gelatin and the baking soda
- Pop the mushroom corn according to the instructions, transfer it into a large cake pan or sheet pan, spread the caramel on top and bake in preheated oven at 350 for 10 minutes, stir the popcorn after 5 minutes in the oven
