Strawberry Gelatin and Froot Loop Trifle

We’ve transformed a childhood favorite cereal into a delicious and impressive dessert. Our trifle recipe pairs our Royal Strawberry Gelatin with Froot Loops for a playfully fun dessert.


  • 1 package Royal strawberry gelatin
  • 1 cup water
  • ½ cup Froot Loops
  • ½ cup dark or white chocolate morsels
  • Whipped cream spray
  • Oil spray
  • Food plastic wrap
  • Quarter sheet pan or cake pan
  • Cookie cutters or star tips


  1. In a plastic container add ½ cup of boiling water, and combine with the strawberry gelatin, stir for 2 minutes, and add ½ cup of cold water. Cover the sheet pan with food plastic wrap and lightly spray with oil; Pour the gelatin and leave in the freezer for 10 to 15 minutes until hardened, after that time transfer it to the cooler
  2. Put the Froot Loops into a zip lock bag and use a small saucepan to make the crumbles
  3. Use the cookie cutters or the large size of the star tip to cut the gelatin
  4. To assemble: 1 tablespoon of Froot Loops crumbles, 1 or 2 tablespoon of chocolate morsels, gelatin, and the whipped cream spray. Make as many layers as you like!
